CHRIST EMBASSY BRAMPTON WEST CREATIVE ARTS SUMMER CAMP

JULY 10TH-JULY 21ST

Textiles

The campers actively participate in sewing fabric and creating new items. As they develop these sets of skills, they can cultivate the mindset of creating their own textiles for future use.

Arts & Crafts

The campers expressed their creativity in the form of art, and also benefitted from art being a form of stress relief.

Etiquette Training

Etiquette training classes enabled the campers to demonstrate how to treat others with respect and to actively cultivate other positive characteristics which they would apply in the real world

Outdoor Fun

Outdoor Fun excursions allowed the campers to physically exercise; enjoyed the benefits of being outdoors – fresh air, vitamin D; care for each other, and most importantly have loads of fun!

The Word

We catered for the campers spiritual growth. Campers had the opportunities to learn the Word of God through reading their Rhapsody of Realities every day. In addition, they did book reviews of books written by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, for example ‘Recreating Your World’, where they learnt that they have the ability to change any situation.

Physical Exercise

It is important to stimulate the body as well as the mind. The campers exercised daily, inculcating in them the importance of physical exercising as an indispensable life skill.
