Christ Embassy Christian Center runs multiple emergency food supply programs under its COVID-19 emergency response plan. The church, members of our congregation and other partners donate items and give towards this cause.

These items range from Cereal & oatmeal, Canned vegetables & fruit, canned fish & meat, peanut butter & jam, soups & stews, pasta & pasta sauce, easy-to-prepare meals (eg. sidekicks, kraft dinner), Children’s snacks (granola bars, applesauce) to rice crackers.

The items are subsequently donated to local food banks in our community and also to identify persons in our community that are in need. In Brampton for example, we have been constantly supplying these food items to; Knights

Table (287 Glidden Road, Unit 8, Brampton), Regeneration (253 Queen St. East), Ste Louise Outreach of Peel (32 Haggert Av N, Brampton, ON L6X 1Y3).

Additionally, we regularly identify persons in our community who are not necessarily homeless but have needs such as lack of food and other personal necessities. Most of these needs have been worsened by the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis.

Frequently, we prepare care packages including groceries tailored to their specific needs and home deliver these packages to them.
